1. Eligibility

Renters must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid Indian driving licence, and complete KYC before pickup.

2. Bookings and minimum duration

The minimum booking is 24 hours. Additional usage beyond a full day is charged as full days plus extra hours at the applicable hourly rate.

3. Security deposit

A refundable security deposit is collected with the booking and returned after the vehicle is returned in clean, undamaged condition, subject to any deductions for damage, traffic challans, or policy violations.

4. Advance payment

The advance / booking amount paid online to confirm a booking is non-refundable. Please review your dates before confirming a booking.

5. Fuel and kilometre policy

Each booking includes a stated free-kilometre allowance. Extra kilometres are charged at the listed per-km rate. The vehicle must be returned with a fuel level comparable to pickup.

6. Late return

Returning the vehicle later than the booked time may attract additional charges at the applicable hourly or daily rate.

7. Prohibited use

Vehicles may not be used for racing, sub-letting, illegal activity, or driving under the influence. Such use voids coverage and may incur penalties.

8. Liability

zipcar.in is not liable for personal belongings left in the vehicle. Traffic fines and challans during the rental period are the renter's responsibility.
